Altinkum means golden sands, named aptly for its vast stretches of silky white beaches and crystalline waters.

Offering a large range of restaurants and bars, Altinkum provides the chance to experience some traditional Turkish nightlife. The entertainment buzzes around the two main squares in the town, and is considerably cheaper than in the UK.

Access to Bodrum International airport is easy, and there is a bus service that runs directly between the two.
