Paros
Paros is an island that can be described as the beauty queen of the Aegean Sea. Rich cultural life, a cosmopolitan ambience, gentle rolling hills surrounding the centre and south-eastern parts of the island and magnificent golden sandy beaches have combined to make Paros one of the most popular places to own a dream property in the Cyclades Islands.
Paros is one of the largest islands of the Cyclades with approximately 120 km coastline, situated about halfway between Athens and Santorini.
On the West coast of Paros is Parika which is the islands capital and main port. Parika is a typical Cycladic town with paved streets, archways, beautiful two-storey houses surrounded with churches and windmills. Broad paved avenues lead to the famous church of Katapoliani which stands as one of the most important Byzantine monuments in the whole of Greece. Surrounding the city centre are serene landscapes with fertile valleys and small churches and monasteries.
