Rethymno (Crete)

Rethymno is a small Mediterranean town that lies along the north coast of Crete. With its charming settings of winding streets and beautiful balconies, Rethymno is considered by many to be one of the most cultural cities in Crete.

The town of Rethymno maintains an old aristocratic appearance, with its buildings dating from the 16th century, arched doorways, stone staircases and narrow streets. The area is rich in characteristic villages and offers areas of great natural beauty, as well as endless beaches, caves and soaring mountains.

There is a range of pubs and bars around the harbour and many other restaurants and tavernas that offer fresh fish along with a selection of food and wines to suite all pallets. There are lots of small shops each with their own unique collection and assortment of goods.

With the mild Mediterranean climate and sunshine nearly all year round, we are sure that you will find a property to enchant you to the city of Rethymno.

Heraklion (Crete)

The city of Heraklion enjoys its reputation as one of the most attractive Mediterranean capitals and is famous for the Greek god of hospitality, Zeus. The city has so much to offer that the cultural tastes and shopping needs of both the semi permanent and permanent residents are fully catered for.

The capital city 'Herakleion' is a modern town with places of interest both in its centre and surrounding area. Herakleion is one of the most densley populated places in Crete and has a highly developed transport and road system. The city has an industrial area, a large harbour and an international airport.

The central market and the shops in Heraklion are among the most diverse in Crete. Residents can easily find jewellery, food, and clothes for any price. Famous Cretan products such as oil, wine, honey and herbs can also be purchased here. Heraklion publishes many newspapers, and has several television and radio stations. The many attractive stores and large super markets along with other cultural related activities that take place makes Heraklion a most vibrant city that is full of motion and life.

There are a great number of restaurants and tavernas, which offer traditional Cretan food as well as international cuisine. The city of Heraklion plays host to many interests and activities and is sure to provide a very pleasant way of life for all that decide to relocate to this part of Crete.

Chania (Crete)

Chania is a city of unique beauty, filled with an abundance of fragrant flowers, and boasting a rich cultural heritage. With its shimmering waterfront, soft sandy beaches and web of alleys, it is an extraordinary city that will certainly make you want to stay and set up permanent residence.

The shores of Western Crete have wonderful sand and crystal clear seas.
