Cyprus is fast becoming one of the most desired golfing destinations in Europe. With an ideal warm climate and beautiful scenery to play, plans for developing many more golf courses are underway.
The Tsada Golf Course & Club has 18 championship holes and plays to a 72 par. Completed in 1994 on the grounds of a 12th century monastery, it is the first grass course in Cyprus. Situated by Tsada village it is only 20 minutes from Paphos.
The Secret Valley Golf Course is also an 18-hole course, located close to Pissouri Village and 12 miles east of Paphos. The club facilities include two putting greens, a restaurant, bar, driving range and a clubhouse built in a traditional Cypriot style. The course is currently building a second 18-hole course, a hotel and a sports complex.
